01Overview

From educational play to digital experience.

Popcorn helps children learn through play, storytelling, and emotional connection. Our goal was to translate that warmth and creativity into a digital platform that feels both playful for children and trustworthy for parents.

Our role

  1. UX/UI Design
  2. E-commerce Development
  3. Bilingual Strategy
  4. Digital Marketing

02The Challenge

Designing for children and parents.

The website needed to balance two different needs: an engaging experience for children and a clear, trustworthy shopping journey for parents.

It also had to work seamlessly across Arabic and English, without losing the personality of the brand.

03Strategy

Making learning part of the journey.

We explored how families discover educational products and what helps parents feel confident when purchasing.

The experience was structured around three key elements: Education, Storytelling, and Easy Shopping.

  • Popcorn logo in yellow, orange, pink and navy with the line pops while playing

    Logo

  • Popcorn icon: stacked number blocks 1, 2 and 3 in yellow, orange and pink

    Icon

  • Popcorn hand-drawn icon set: joined hands, a family, an atom, tic-tac-toe, a badge, a sun, a target, a family, a light bulb and a superhero

04Brand Character

Bringing Popcorn's world to life.

Popcorn's educational characters became more than illustrations. They were integrated into the website to guide users, tell stories, and create a consistent connection between the brand and its products.

  • Pop, a smiling yellow corn kernel walking on stick legs

    Pop

    Curiosity & Creativity

The excited little kernel, warming up with creativity! Just like popcorn needs heat to pop, kids need curiosity to explore, imagine, and discover new ideas.

  • Bondy, a half-popped kernel in cream and yellow standing on stick legs

    Bondy

    Building Connections

Bondy holds everything together before the big pop! Through shared moments and deep conversations, Bondy helps families bond, grow, and strengthen their connections.

  • Caramel, a fully popped cream popcorn with raised arms and a smile

    Caramel

    Values & Resilience

The joyful burst of transformation! Full of energy and confidence, Caramel embraces challenges, adapts to change, and helps kids face life's adventures with courage.

05UX/UI Design

A joyful shopping experience.

The interface was designed to be simple, welcoming, and easy to navigate while keeping the playful personality of Popcorn at the center.

Clear navigation, intuitive product discovery, story-driven pages, and a simple checkout flow help reduce friction for parents.

06E-Commerce Development

Built to grow with the brand.

We developed a bilingual WordPress and WooCommerce platform with a structured product catalog, responsive layouts, secure checkout, and an easy-to-manage content system.

The result is more than a website. It's a scalable digital storefront.

07Bilingual Experience

One brand. Two languages.

Arabic and English were integrated into the experience from the beginning, creating a consistent and accessible journey for different audiences.

08Digital Market

Designing beyond the website.

To support long-term growth, the project included a digital marketing direction covering customer personas, content pillars, social media, SEO foundations, and launch opportunities.

11What We Learned

Designing for emotion, clarity, and connection.

Popcorn reminded us that educational brands need to speak to both the parent making the decision and the child experiencing the product.

The strongest bilingual experiences don't feel translated. They feel naturally built for everyone.
